Chrysanthemums in Bloom at the “Puķu sēta” Nursery Greenhouses
Chrysanthemums are now flowering in the greenhouses of the “Puķu sēta” nursery, run by SIA “Jaunzemnieki Z”. The three gardeners there learned their trade through experience rather than formal study.

The greenhouses of the “Puķu sēta” plant nursery, which belongs to the company SIA “Jaunzemnieki Z”, are currently full of blooming chrysanthemums, the regional newspaper “Stars” reports.
The flowers come in white, yellow, pink, orange and dark red. They stand out for their large blooms and a bitter scent.
Three gardeners
The greenhouses are tended by gardeners Diāna Barsukova, Inga Sudāre-Špune and Sintija Bonda. For all three, working in the greenhouse and growing flowers is close to the heart. They enjoy it and are good at it.
None of them links her flower-growing skills to a profession studied at an educational institution. According to the newspaper, they learned in the “school of life”. Their experience was built up gradually through persistent daily work, raising flowers from small seedlings to full bloom.
