DeepState warns: Kostiantynivka may repeat Pokrovsk scenario
Russian occupiers have reached the outskirts of Kostiantynivka from multiple directions and are infiltrating the city. Its capture would open the way to the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

Situation in Kostiantynivka deteriorates
The monitoring project DeepState reports that the situation in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, is unfolding according to the worst-case scenario. Russian forces have reached the outskirts of the city from all sides and are actively pressing and infiltrating deeper into the settlement.
Possible consequences
Analysts say that after Kostiantynivka falls, the next target would be Druzhkivka, which plays a critical logistical role, followed by Kramatorsk. Once Kostiantynivka is under enemy control, the logistics for Ukrainian defense forces in the area will change dramatically, making any movement difficult and even staying in Kramatorsk extremely dangerous due to enemy drone operators.
Comparison with Pokrovsk
DeepState notes that Kostiantynivka may see a repetition of the Pokrovsk scenario. The Russian army does not count losses, similar to Pokrovsk, where despite heavy infantry losses, they managed to capture the city. Ukraine also suffered massive personnel losses.
Differing views
Meanwhile, the commander of the 19th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksandr Bakulin, stated on June 15 that the situation in Kostiantynivka is not critical and is not identical to that in Pokrovsk. According to him, there are approximately 123 Russian soldiers in the city, and claims of enemy control over Kostiantynivka are premature and exaggerated.
