Tech site Engadget has rounded up its recent product reviews, spanning from gaming hardware to smart rings. The reviews evaluate five different products, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

Valve Steam Machine – Valve's long-awaited console brings your Steam library to the living room, but it is underpowered and overpriced. According to the reviewer, even at $600 it would be a tough sell due to hardware limitations. The concept is good, but execution needs improvement.

Samsung Music Studio 7 – This speaker primarily works as a standalone device but excels as part of a home theater stereo pair. Two Studio 7 units outperform Samsung's best soundbar, and at $1,000 for the pair, it may even be cheaper than other premium soundbars.

Oura Ring 5 – The latest Oura Ring doesn't introduce flashy new features, but it is smaller and offers longer battery life. While not a dramatic leap over the Ring 4, its true value lies in the utility of its services.

HP OmniBook Ultra 14 – HP returns to top form with this ultraportable. It boasts an exquisite design, brilliant display, strong performance, and solid battery life. However, it lacks an SD card slot and HDMI port, and has some annoying pop-ups.

Alienware 34 QD-OLED – Samsung's latest panel technology makes this monitor brighter and more colorful than previous Alienware models. Upon powering on, it immediately impresses with brightness and color depth, making Windows 11 backgrounds and images pop.
