HBO Max is offering a 28% discount on annual subscription plans, reducing the ad-supported tier to $78.99, the Standard plan to $132.99, and the Premium tier to $164.99 per year.
New and returning subscribers can save 28% on any HBO Max yearly plan until July 15, 2026. The ad-supported Basic plan is $78.99 per year ($31 off), the Standard plan is $132.99 per year ($52 off), and the Premium tier is $164.99 per year ($65 off). This represents up to 40% savings compared to paying monthly.
All three plans include access to HBO Max's extensive library of movies and TV shows, including content from Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, A24, Studio Ghibli, and Turner Classic Movies. Subscribers can stream recent Oscar winners and nominees such as "Sinners", "One Battle After Another", and "Marty Supreme", along with other HBO Max originals. TV offerings include popular series like "The Pitt", "Hacks", "Euphoria", and "Heated Rivalry", as well as long-time favorites like "Game of Thrones", "Friends", and "The Big Bang Theory".
The main differences are in features. The ad-supported Basic plan allows streaming on two devices simultaneously. The Premium tier supports streaming on up to four devices at once, offers 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos, and increases offline downloads to 100 titles.
