Publisher Dienas Bizness to digitalise its titles with Recovery Fund support
On 9 January 2025, the Latvian publisher Dienas Bizness signed an agreement on Recovery Fund support for modernising its media processes. The project covers CRM systems, mobile and Smart TV apps, and the expansion of existing platforms.
The Latvian company SIA "Izdevniecība "Dienas bizness"" signed an agreement on 9 January 2025 with the Central Finance and Contracting Agency on support under the measure "Modernisation of media sector companies' processes". The measure is financed by the Recovery Fund. The agreement number is 2.2.1.5.i.0/1/24/A/CFLA/004.
The project aims to carry out the digital transformation of the publisher's titles DIENAS BIZNESS and DIENAS ŽURNĀLI. It is meant to adapt them to modern media consumption habits and to encourage interaction between digital and print media.
Planned results
By 30 June 2025, two digital solutions are to be introduced, namely customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
By 30 June 2026, the plan is to launch two mobile apps and two Smart TV apps. The functionality of existing platforms is also to be expanded, including the Dienas subscription system (DAS).
