Artissimo festival concludes in Jūrmala, Kremer and Sokolov performances still ahead
The Artissimo music festival has taken place at the Dzintari concert hall in Jūrmala, featuring both established musicians and young talents. The festival will close with a concert by pianist Grigory Sokolov at the Latvian National Opera, while a performance by Gidon Kremer is still to come.

The annual Artissimo music festival has been held at the Dzintari concert hall in Jūrmala, with music columnist Andrejs Šavrejs reporting on its events. Alongside other performances, the festival's program has included appearances by musician Mischa Maisky and Dutch performers.
Young talents' concert
One concert deserves particular mention: a performance by young musical talents held in the small hall at Dzintari. The columnist singled it out as one of the festival's most notable events.
Kremer and Sokolov still ahead
The Artissimo program is not yet finished — audiences can still look forward to a concert by musician Gidon Kremer. The festival itself will conclude with a performance by the celebrated pianist Grigory Sokolov, to be held at the Latvian National Opera.
This year's Artissimo has thus brought together both internationally recognized performers and a younger generation of musicians, offering audiences a broad classical music program across several venues in Jūrmala and Riga.
