Train movement restricted in Kyiv region due to security reasons; delays expected – Ukrzaliznytsia
Ukraine's railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced restrictions on train movement in parts of Kyiv region for security reasons, leading to delays and rerouting of several trains. The restrictions follow a massive Russian attack that caused casualties and damage.

Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine's state railway operator, has restricted train movement on several sections of railway in the Kyiv region due to security concerns. As a result, a number of long-distance trains will run with delays via alternative routes. The company assured that key stops for these trains will be maintained.
The affected trains include No.93 (Kharkiv – Kholm), No.134 (Kamianets-Podilskyi – Kyiv), No.94 (Kholm – Kharkiv), No.43 (Dnipro – Ivano-Frankivsk), and No.104 (Lviv – Lozova). Current delays can be tracked on the uz-vezemo service.
Suburban traffic in the Fastiv direction is also complicated. In coordination with the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Ukrzaliznytsia is organizing shuttle buses between Boiarka and Kyiv.
The restrictions come after a massive combined Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of July 6. In the Bucha district of Kyiv region, one person was killed and ten were injured. In Kyiv, a Russian missile struck a nine-story residential building in the Podilskyi district, partially destroying it. The capital reported seven fatalities and 24 injured.
