Electric transport halts in part of Kyiv amid power outage
On the morning of 2 November, a lack of voltage in part of Kyiv, Ukraine's capital, suspended electric transport. Tram service was partly restored at 08:55, but with deviations from the schedule.

Electric public transport has stopped running in part of Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, on the morning of 2 November because of a lack of voltage in the power system. The city's public transport company Kyivpastrans reported this on social media. The source does not say what caused the loss of voltage.
Where service is suspended
The company said traffic was temporarily halted on the Borshchahivka high-speed tram line. Disruption also affects Vidradnyi and Beresteiskyi avenues, as well as Harmatna, Vadyma Hetmana, Oleny Teligy, Danyla Shcherbakivskoho, Volodymyrska, Sviatoshynska and Stetsenka streets, and the area around Shuliavska metro station.
The funicular has also been suspended because it has no electricity supply.
Partial restoration
Later, it was announced that trams No. 1, 2, 3, 14 and 15 resumed service at 08:55. These trams are running with deviations from the timetable, so delays are possible.
What comes next
Kyivpastrans said it would provide further information about the restoration of service and later changes to public transport operations. Passengers using the affected routes and stops should expect delays until full resumption is announced. The report was updated after the initial announcement.
