Russia launched 193 drones at Ukraine overnight into Saturday

Russia attacked Ukraine overnight into Saturday with 193 attack drones and decoy drones. The information comes from the Ukrainian Air Force, the branch of the country's armed forces that tracks air attacks.

The attack is part of Russia's wider war against Ukraine, in which drones are used regularly.

The source gives only the total number of aircraft launched. That figure includes both attack drones and decoys. Decoys are unmanned aircraft that resemble attack drones but serve a different purpose. The report does not say how many drones were shot down, whether any hit their targets, or whether there were casualties or damage.
