Russia's Most Advanced Su-57 Fighter Jet Crashes

A Russian Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jet crashed in the Moscow region during a training flight. The pilot ejected, and the aircraft was unarmed. The cause is under investigation.

A Russian Su-57 fighter jet crashed on Thursday near the town of Zvenigorod in the Moscow region, according to Kremlin-linked outlet "Ostorozhno, novosti" and military-affiliated Telegram channels "112" and "Mash".

Initial reports indicate that the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft. The crash occurred during a training flight, and the jet was not carrying any weapons, sources told the Russian newspaper "Kommersant".

The cause of the crash is currently unknown. The Su-57 is Russia's fifth-generation supersonic heavy multirole fighter, considered one of the most advanced aircraft in the Russian Air Force.
