Russian Drone Strikes Sumy Riding School, Killing Three Horses
Overnight on Wednesday, Russian forces used a Geran-2 drone to attack a horse riding school in Sumy, killing three horses. No human casualties were reported.

Russian forces launched an attack on the Sumy Equestrian Sports School territory during the night of Wednesday, June 17. The attack was carried out using a Geran-2 unmanned aerial vehicle. The strike hit the horse stables, sparking a fire that was later contained.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the regional administration, stated that the attack was deliberately aimed at a civilian facility where children—the school's students—train daily. According to preliminary information, no staff members were injured.
Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy, confirmed that three horses were killed and the stable building was damaged. Local outlet "Kordon.Media" reported that the strike occurred after midnight.
