A cultural worker responsible for both Nīkrāce and Laidi parishes believes that culture goes beyond concerts and performances—it is an opportunity to meet, get to know each other, and strengthen one's sense of belonging. Her work extends far beyond the event day, involving idea generation, planning, collaboration with artists, writing projects, creating posters, and handling technical matters.

The busiest periods are holidays: Easter, Jāņi (Midsummer), national holidays in November, Christmas, and New Year. This year, Easter and Jāņi events have already taken place in both parishes, along with the Kuldīga municipality senior gathering in Raņķi. She thanks residents for their understanding, as sometimes there are not enough hours in a day to answer all calls.

In Nīkrāce, she maintains traditions while adding new ideas. In Laidi, it is her first year, so a key task is to create an event that becomes the parish's hallmark. On August 29, the "Laidi Park Stories" event is planned, developed together with creative and responsive people. The goal is for the celebration to be a collective effort, not just an organizer-run event.

Attention is also given to Sermīte—a summer evening concert will take place there on July 15. She notes that the greatest satisfaction comes from seeing people attend, smile, sing along, and dance. Events where residents participate are especially valuable.

Since the reorganization of the field in the municipality, cultural workers have become more united—they support each other, share experiences, and help out. She is grateful for the opportunity to do a job she loves and values the responsiveness and smiles of people after events.
