Kushner's talks with Israel and Hamas end without major breakthrough
US special envoy Jared Kushner held meetings over the past two days with Israeli and Hamas representatives, but the talks failed to produce significant progress.

Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and special envoy, has spent the past two days holding a series of meetings with representatives of Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas. The goal of the talks was to reach an agreement that would allow movement toward launching the second phase of the Gaza Strip peace plan.
Despite the intensive efforts, the negotiations concluded without any substantial progress. The two sides have so far been unable to find the common ground needed to advance the peace process to its next stage.
Kushner has previously been involved in the US administration's efforts to help resolve the Gaza conflict, and this week's meetings were part of broader attempts to reach a lasting solution in the region.
