Latvian female darters achieve historic medals at European Youth Cup
Amanda Kirilova and Marta Roga won silver in pairs, while Roga secured bronze in singles, marking Latvia's first medals at the WDF European Youth Cup.

Latvian darts players Amanda Kirilova and Marta Roga have achieved a historic success at the WDF European Youth Cup in Ireland. In the pairs competition, they won silver medals, the first for Latvia in this event. The final against the German duo ended 3:5, despite the Latvians leading 3:2 at one point.
Marta Roga also claimed a bronze medal in the individual competition, her second medal in this cup (she also won bronze two years ago). This was Latvia's third medal overall in the European Youth Cup. Roga defeated Austria's S. Glaser 4:3 in the quarter-finals after a tense deciding leg, but lost 0:4 to Germany's Kummel in the semi-finals.
Amanda Kirilova reached the round of 16 in singles, where she lost to Swedish player Eriksson. She had won all five group matches.
In the men's competition, Ernests Buļko performed best, winning all group games but losing 2:4 to Dutch player Bradley van der Velden in the 1/32 finals.
In the team event, the girls' team lost three group matches and beat Austria. They defeated Slovakia in the round of 16 but lost to Ireland in the quarter-finals, finishing in shared 5th-8th place. The boys' team lost all three group matches.
In the overall youth ranking, Latvia's girls placed fifth with 65 points, just two points behind fourth-placed England.
