Latvian Company Supplied Russian Army with '5.11 Tactical' Gear, Investigation Finds
An investigation by 'The Insider' reveals that companies from Latvia, Poland, and Hong Kong have imported tactical clothing for Russian occupation forces in Ukraine.

According to a probe by the Riga-based Russian investigative outlet 'The Insider', a Latvian firm is among several entities that have supplied Russian armed forces with '5.11 Tactical' brand products. The investigation utilized customs data to trace the flow of goods into Russia.
It was also discovered that the same brand of clothing was used by the Wagner mercenary group and its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who died in a plane crash two months after a failed mutiny in June 2023.
This information points to potential sanctions evasion, as Western countries have imposed extensive restrictions on exports to Russia since the start of its invasion of Ukraine.
