Lithuania to Raise Minimum Wage to €1,245 Before Tax Next Year
The Lithuanian government has approved an 8% increase in the monthly minimum wage to €1,245 before tax, affecting approximately 145,000 workers.

Minimum Wage Increase in Lithuania
Lithuania’s government on Wednesday approved an 8 percent increase in the monthly minimum wage for next year, setting it at €1,245 before tax. This is €92 higher than the current level. The move is expected to affect about 145,000 employees, or around 10 percent of the workforce.
The minimum hourly rate will also rise by 8 percent (56 cents) to €7.61 starting next year. According to government estimates, net earnings for minimum-wage workers should increase by €56, reaching at least €902.
This year, the minimum wage was increased by 11 percent (€115) to €1,153 before tax.
