Džimba Guest School Runs for Four Days in Limbaži
From 13 to 16 October, a Džimba guest school operated at the Limbaži culture house, with more than 300 children from the municipality attending, mostly of preschool age.

An unusual educational institution, the Džimba guest school, operated in the second-floor hall of the Limbaži culture house from 13 to 16 October. More than 300 children from the Limbaži municipality attended its sessions, which were aimed mainly at preschool-age pupils.
Who took part
Most of the visitors were five- and six-year-old children from preschool groups. A few first-grade classes also came.
The children arrived from several educational institutions in the municipality:
- the Ozolaine preschool institution;
- all three Limbaži kindergartens – Buratīno, Kāpēcītis and Spārīte;
- the Vilnītis kindergarten in Salacgrīva and the Auseklītis kindergarten in Aloja;
- the primary schools of Liepupe, Vidriži and Pāle;
- the municipality's special primary school;
- the Ainaži preschool groups of Salacgrīva Secondary School.
Pupils therefore came from different parts of the municipality, not only from Limbaži itself but also from Salacgrīva, Aloja, Liepupe, Vidriži, Pāle and Ainaži.
More information
A fuller account of the guest school has been published in the newspaper Auseklis and its e-edition. The online version states only that pupils from many of the municipality's educational institutions took part in the sessions.
