Mercedes-AMG Reveals New Electric CLA 45: 0–100 km/h in 2.7 Seconds
Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the all-electric CLA 45 4MATIC+, featuring three motors, 500 kW output, and a 2.7-second sprint to 100 km/h; available as a sedan and Shooting Brake.

German manufacturer Mercedes-AMG has officially presented the new all-electric CLA 45 4MATIC+. The model will be offered in two body styles: a sedan and a Shooting Brake.
Technical specifications reveal that the CLA 45 is equipped with three axial-flux electric motors delivering a combined output of 500 kW and 1,759 Nm of torque. This powertrain enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h, extendable to 270 km/h with optional equipment.
The vehicle houses a 94 kWh battery based on an 800-volt architecture, supporting DC fast charging at up to 330 kW and AC charging at 22 kW. According to the WLTP cycle, the sedan can cover over 670 km on a single charge, while the Shooting Brake version achieves more than 640 km. Average energy consumption is estimated at 16.5–19.6 kWh per 100 km.
The new CLA 45 represents a significant step in Mercedes-AMG’s electrification strategy. The company notes that the CLA family has driven growing demand for electric vehicles: in the first quarter of 2026, Mercedes-Benz sold 50,400 EVs worldwide, an 11% increase compared to the same period last year.
