Meru Manor opens "Melody Patterns" exhibition
An arts and crafts exhibition titled "Melody Patterns" opened on Saturday at the Smiltene municipality museum in Meru Manor, featuring works inspired by the emotions of Latvian pop songs. Visitors could also enjoy concerts and other activities.

On Saturday, August 15, the Smiltene municipality museum at Meru Manor opened a new exhibition called "Melody Patterns," dedicated to Latvian crafts and art. The exhibition was organized by the folk applied arts studio "Smiltene" in cooperation with the Smiltene municipality museum and the Smiltene municipality Culture Centre.
Music reflected in art
The artworks and applied art pieces on display were created by authors drawing inspiration from well-known Latvian pop melodies. Each piece reflects the feelings and emotions these songs evoked in their creators.
Concerts and activities
During the opening event, visitors were able to view the exhibited works as well as listen to concerts and take part in various activities organized for the occasion.
