Pakruojo Manor, the largest manor complex in Lithuania, today starts its eighth Summer Flower Festival. This year's theme is love, expressed through flowers – their colors, shapes, and scents. Visitors can expect more than 450 flower varieties, with the park's landscape changing over the season: starting with blue and violet tones, later shifting to red and pink hues.

The park is adorned with impressive floral sculptures inspired by William Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Visitors will see a donkey, Puck, and other fantasy characters created by renowned Lithuanian artists. The entire manor becomes a live stage for open-air theater performances featuring beloved actors and singer-director Aiste Lasite, who oversees the direction. The shows revolve around a comedic story of preparing for the baron's sister's wedding.

A key part of the festival is the historic manor farm. This year, new residents include a goat family, ducklings, a peacock, and a cow named Pupšytė, who gave birth to twin calves named Count and Baron. Visitors can observe daily activities such as milking, egg collecting, and animal care, offering a glimpse into authentic Lithuanian rural life.

In addition to flowers and theater, the festival offers workshops on traditional crafts, 19th-century photography demonstrations, historical costumes, a carousel, outdoor games, and more. The festival runs daily from June 27, with the manor open from 12:00. Tickets and further information are available at www.pakrojasmuiza.lv.
