Renault Group shows electric Trafic and new Dacia Striker at Paris motor show
At the Paris motor show, Renault Group presented the electric Trafic E-Tech Electric van and the Dacia Striker coupe-crossover. The electric Trafic goes on sale in Latvia from early 2027.
At the Paris motor show, French carmaker Renault Group, exhibiting as a home-market brand, gave special attention to two new models: the electric Renault Trafic E-Tech Electric van and the new Dacia Striker, from the Romanian budget brand Dacia. The electric Trafic will be available to buyers in Latvia from the start of 2027.
Electric Trafic
The Renault Trafic E-Tech Electric has already won the International Van of the Year title in Europe. It is built on an entirely new platform, and its design differs from combustion-engine versions. The platform runs at 800 V, and the van can cover up to 460 km on one charge. Fast-charging power reaches 190 kW.
Two battery options are offered, 60 or 81 kWh. The cargo version's gross weight is 3.2 or 3.5 tonnes. Prices in Latvia will be announced shortly.
Dacia Striker
The Dacia Striker is 4.62 m long and combines coupe and crossover traits. The brand has put more effort into its design this time. Initially it will use the same engines as other Dacia models, including the "tri-fuel" system that allows driving on petrol, electricity and gas.
Other debuts
Visitors were also drawn to concept cars on the group's stands: the next-generation Alpine coupe concept, the Renault 8 Gordini and the Renault e-Space concepts. The electric Renault Megane E-Tech Electric and the small Dacia Spring electric car, with a new design, also debuted. Spring production has been moved from China to Slovenia.
