Party ratings: 'United List' and 'Sovereign Power'/'New Latvians' rise in popularity
A June poll shows the 'United List' and 'Sovereign Power'/'New Latvians' gaining the most support, while 'New Unity' and the Greens/Farmers Union have lost ground.

A new political party rating survey conducted from June 6 to 16 reveals significant shifts in voter preferences. The poll of 1,004 Latvian residents took place during a government transition—the resignation of Evika Siliņa's cabinet and the approval of Andris Kulbergs' government.
The steepest rise was recorded by the 'United List' alliance, from which Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs (who is not a party member) hails. Its rating jumped from 6.8% in April/May to 9.8% in June, placing it second behind the leading 'Latvia First'.
The second-largest gain was for 'Sovereign Power'/'New Latvians', whose support increased from 6.2% to 8.6%, securing third place. The National Alliance also saw a modest increase of 1.1 percentage points.
The biggest losers were 'New Unity', whose rating dropped from 5.9% to 4.2%, falling to seventh place. The Greens and Farmers Union also declined from 5.6% to 4.4%. Minor decreases were observed for 'Stability!' and 'We Change the Rules'. 'The Progressives' and 'Latvia First' remained steady with slight upward trends.
A large portion of voters remain undecided—25.4% do not know whom to vote for, while 12% said they would not participate in elections.
