Poland's Innovative Farmer 2026 Contest: Jury Picks Winners, Names to Be Revealed Soon
The jury of Poland's Innovative Farmer 2026 agricultural contest has chosen its winners after visiting 21 farms. The names will be announced on 18 November in Warsaw at a conference.

The jury of the Innovative Farmer 2026 contest (Innowacyjny Farmer 2026), a Polish agricultural competition, has selected this year's winners. The decisions were made on 27 October, but the laureates' names remain secret for now. They will be revealed on 18 November in Warsaw, at a gala held alongside the National Challenges in Agriculture (Narodowe Wyzwania w Rolnictwie) conference.
The contest is organised by Grupa PTWP, a media group that publishes the monthly magazine "Farmer" and the farmer.pl website. It aims to highlight farmers who adopt modern technologies, original solutions and practices that improve production efficiency while also caring for the environment and the future of their farms.
A difficult selection
Twenty-one farms took part this year. Farmer's editors visited them, travelling thousands of kilometres, and the jury members made their final decisions based on the materials collected. According to the organisers, the discussions were at times heated: participants included both large-acreage farms and considerably smaller ones that stood out for their ingenuity and unconventional approach.
The jury's attention was drawn to farms that focus on crop diversification, new agronomic solutions, advanced technology, innovative equipment, and achievements in livestock keeping and breeding. There were also home-built constructions, farmers' own patents and practical improvements that help cut costs, raise production efficiency and make better use of available resources.
When the results come
The awards gala will take place on 18 November in Warsaw, at the Legia Warszawa stadium, where the farmers whose ideas and work show the direction in which modern Polish agriculture can develop will be honoured. Registration for the conference is still open.
