Riga Photography Biennale features Rūta Kalmuka's exhibition 'Dzen'

Photographer Rūta Kalmuka's solo exhibition 'Dzen' is on display at ISSP Gallery until July 2. The works are created using analog large-format technique.

The Riga Photography Biennale program includes photographer Rūta Kalmuka's solo exhibition 'Dzen', which can be seen at the ISSP Gallery until July 2. The exhibition presents large-format works shot in analog technique with a camera historically used by renowned photographers. Among them are Alfred Stieglitz, considered a pioneer of art photography, and Ansel Adams, a prominent mountain landscape photographer. The same technique was also used by American photographer Sally Mann, whose works featuring children sparked public debate.
