Norwegian film «Nipsteri» wins top prize at Riga international film festival
Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF) gave its main award to «Nipsteri», a film by a Norwegian female director. Several Latvian films were also honoured.
The laureates of the Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF) were announced at an awards ceremony held at the Splendid Palace cinema, the festival's home venue. The main prize went to «Nipsteri», a film by a Norwegian female director. Several Latvian films also received awards.
The ceremony
Competition participants, Latvian and foreign juries, festival guests and visitors gathered at Splendid Palace. The event was hosted by director and actor Gerds Lapoška. Awards went to winners of both the competition programmes and the industry programme.
