The Estonian dairy processing company "E-Piim Tootmine" has gone bankrupt, and its key asset — a cheese factory in Paide — has changed ownership. The facility has been purchased by "BinDawood", a trading company from Saudi Arabia.
The acquisition means the Paide factory will now belong to a foreign investor from the Middle East, while "E-Piim Tootmine" itself has lost its production base as a result of the insolvency proceedings.
Details have not yet been disclosed regarding how the new owner intends to use the acquired factory going forward or what role it will play within "BinDawood"'s broader business operations.
