Vidzeme cuisine at the festival
For the second consecutive year, the culinary heritage of the Vidzeme region was represented at the event with a wide selection of dishes. This was provided by Ilze Briede, mistress of Branti manor, who introduced festival visitors to dishes characteristic of the region.
The Latvian Regional Cheese Day brings together cheesemakers, farmers and food artisans from various regions of Latvia each year, giving visitors the chance to discover and taste the diversity of local produce in person.
