Switzerland Crush Bosnia with Four Second-Half Goals After Goalless First Half
Switzerland scored four goals in the second half to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1 in a World Cup 2026 qualifier in Los Angeles.
The first half was a cautious affair with few clear chances. Granit Xhaka shot wide on eight minutes, while Dan Ndoye troubled the Bosnian defense but could not break through. Bosnia pulled one back through Mahmic in the 90+3rd minute, but Switzerland responded quickly: Manzambi scored his second in the 90th minute, and Granit Xhaka converted a penalty deep into stoppage time (90+7). The match ended 4-1.
