The ice park in the Lasnamäe district of Tallinn, Estonia's capital, will open its skating season this year on 31 October. The park is located in Tondiraba Park, and the Lasnamäe district administration's press service reports that an entertainment programme is planned for the opening.
Opening event
On Saturday, 31 October, entry to the rink and skate rental will be free from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The celebration on the ice begins at 1:00 pm. From 1:10 pm, young guests will be entertained by the animator Imeline Lepatriinu, an unusual ladybird who, unlike its relatives, does not hibernate for the winter and instead takes to the ice with the guests.
Opening hours and discounts
The ice park is at 18 Varraku Street. From the start of the season it will operate every day, in any weather, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Keen skaters can buy a season pass, while older residents will be able to skate for free on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
