Four people poisoned by carbon monoxide at Tallinn spa center
On Saturday evening, four people at the Elamus Spa complex in Tallinn required medical assistance after inhaling carbon monoxide. The facility was temporarily closed for safety inspections.

On Saturday at 10:44 PM, the Emergency Center received a report of possible carbon monoxide exposure at the Elamus Spa 21+ bath center in Tallinn's Mustamäe district. Four individuals in the bath center felt unwell and received medical aid.
By the time rescuers arrived, spa staff had already ventilated the sauna rooms. The spa complex was closed to ensure safety and to conduct all necessary checks. An ambulance was on site, and medics examined everyone who had felt ill.
The Rescue Department urges anyone who was at the Elamus Spa 21+ bath center between 10:30 PM and 11:15 PM on Saturday to monitor their health in the coming hours. If their condition worsens, they should seek medical attention.
Symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, and drowsiness. If these symptoms occur, it is essential to get fresh air immediately and consult a doctor for a health assessment.
