Tallinna FC Flora out of UEFA Champions League
Tallinna FC Flora failed to advance after a 2-2 away draw against FC Iberia 1999, losing 4-5 on aggregate. They will continue their season in the UEFA Conference League.

Estonian Meistriliiga side Tallinna FC Flora's 2-2 draw away to Georgian team FC Iberia 1999 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round on Sunday was not enough to keep them in the competition. The Tallinn side had lost the first leg at home 2-3.
Trailing 0-2 at halftime, the visitors nearly conceded a third goal early in the second half, ruled offside. However, they fought back with a goal from forward Tony Varjund in the 69th minute and a penalty converted by striker Rauno Sappinen in the 84th to level the tie. They needed a third goal to force extra time, but time ran out before they could find it.
FC Iberia 1999 will next face Slovan Bratislava in the second qualifying round. Flora's season continues in the third-tier UEFA Conference League, starting against The New Saints F.C., a club based in Oswestry, England but playing in the Welsh Cymru Premier. The first leg will be played in Tallinn on Thursday, July 23.
