On August 19, a live discussion broadcast titled "What is happening with airBaltic's business plan and Latvia's interests?" was aired. The program brought together several senior officials, airline representatives and Saeima deputies to discuss the future of national carrier airBaltic and its connection to Latvia's national interests.
Participants included Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs of the United List, Transport Minister Rihards Kozlovskis of New Unity, and Economy Minister Viktors Valainis of the Union of Greens and Farmers. Representing airBaltic were board member Vitolds Jakovļevs and council chairman Andrejs Martinovs.
