Trump sees nothing criminal in Senator Graham's death
US President Donald Trump stated he sees no criminal circumstances in the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham, criticizing the FBI's involvement as a waste of time.

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, July 14, commenting on the sudden death of Senator Lindsey Graham, indicated that the cause was likely health issues. Trump mentioned that Graham suffered from blocked arteries and had not taken better care of himself. "It's a shame he didn't take better care of himself. It's something that's almost undetectable, and when it happens, there's not much you can do about it," Trump said.
The president categorically dismissed any criminal involvement. "I don't see anything criminal in it. I know there are all sorts of conspiracy theories, and I think the FBI is wasting its time if it's looking into this," Trump said.
Notably, shortly before his sudden death, Graham had returned from a trip to Ukraine and was scheduled to give an interview the next morning. The senator was a co-author of a bill on sanctions against Russia, whose adoption had been stalled since last year. In mid-November, Graham stated that Trump had "blessed" Congress to pass the long-stalled sanctions bill.
