Ukrainian Drones Hit 13 Russian Shadow Fleet Vessels and Five Power Substations in Crimea
Ukraine's unmanned systems struck 13 Russian shadow fleet ships over the past 120 hours, including ten tankers, and attacked five power substations in Crimea. Meanwhile, BBC and independent media report at least 3,589 foreign fighters have been killed fighting for Russia in Ukraine.

Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi ("Madyar"), announced that Ukrainian drones have struck 13 vessels of Russia's shadow fleet over the last 120 hours. The hits include ten tankers, one dry cargo ship, one ferry, and one tugboat. Brovdi stated that all affected tankers have been identified as belonging to Russia's shadow fleet and are subject to international sanctions. Additionally, strikes were carried out on five electricity transmission substations in Crimea.
Meanwhile, investigative journalism reveals that at least 3,589 foreigners have been killed fighting on Russia's side since the full-scale invasion, according to BBC calculations. The BBC Russian Service and Mediazona, with volunteer assistance, have identified 233,033 names of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine, among them 1,285 foreign citizens. Additionally, 2,304 North Korean soldiers were killed during Ukraine's incursion into Kursk Oblast in August 2024. NATO officials estimate that approximately 24,000 foreign mercenaries from 44 countries, mostly from Africa, are fighting within Russian forces.
