Ukrainian Drones Strike Multiple Russian Regions Overnight

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on several Russian regions, causing casualties and damage.

On the night of July 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a massive drone attack on multiple regions of Russia. According to local authorities, in the town of Kotovsk in the Tambov region, seven employees of the Wildberries online marketplace warehouse were killed and at least 24 were injured.

Videos published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+ showed fires at Wildberries warehouses in Elektrostal, Moscow region, and at an oil depot in Noginsk. In the Vladimir region, a drone struck an apartment in a multi-story building, causing a fire but no casualties. Residents were offered evacuation to a temporary shelter.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 33 drones were shot down over the city, later stating that over 370 drones had attacked the Moscow region. In the Leningrad region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said six drones were downed.

The attacks also targeted occupied Crimea. The Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" reported strikes not only in Sevastopol but also in Kerch, Feodosia, and the village of Gvardeiskoye, where an airbase is located. Authorities declared an air raid alert that lasted 2.5 hours.

In Ukraine, in the Chernihiv region's Novhorod-Siverskyi, a drone struck a private house, injuring five people, including three children. The State Emergency Service published photos showing the house on fire and severely damaged.

Meanwhile, in the Odesa region, Russian forces launched a missile attack on a port, damaging a vessel flying the flag of the Marshall Islands. Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleg Kiper said the 17-person crew was evacuated, with four of them injured.
