Midsummer Eve Celebration in Uzvara

This Saturday, June 20, at 7 p.m., Akmens Park in Uzvara will host a summer solstice celebration. The event has been announced by the cultural center “Kamarde.”
The evening will begin with a musical performance prepared by the local amateur theatre “Uzgalīši” and the mixed choir “Kamarde.” After the show, at 8 p.m., a festive bonfire will be lit, and visitors can enjoy refreshments.
Starting at 9 p.m., a dance party will take place, led by musician Kaspars Kārkliņš, who promises to maintain a cheerful solstice atmosphere throughout the night. Organizers invite families, friends, and neighbors to come together and welcome the summer solstice in a spirited and harmonious way.
