Wildberries, a Russian online marketplace, has stated that it is "working out" compensation for sellers who lost goods in Ukrainian drone strikes on its warehouses in the Moscow and Tambov regions. The announcement was made by the company's founder and CEO, Tatyana Kim.

Kim added that the company will pay 2 million rubles to the families of those killed in the strikes and 1 million rubles to those in serious condition. Regarding the goods, she said: "Our partners are also concerned about compensation for goods stored at our facilities. Despite the emergency situation and the absence of any obligation to compensate for lost goods, we are already working out the payment amounts for sellers and other financial support measures. We will provide detailed information on the seller portal about these payments, the measures, and how to receive them."

In early July, Wildberries added a clause to its seller agreement exempting the company from liability for failing to meet its obligations in the event of a drone attack. The specific amounts of compensation for destroyed goods have not yet been disclosed.
