Bulgaria has withdrawn from the international Good Will Coalition, which unites countries supporting Ukraine. The decision was announced on Tuesday by Radev, who leads the "Progressive Bulgaria" coalition.
He stated that his force will not participate in a coalition that insists on continued financial and military aid to Ukraine. Radev believes the conflict's solution lies in a diplomatic mission, not in military escalation.
Radev's coalition won early parliamentary elections in April and secured a majority. Until January, Radev served as Bulgaria's president and repeatedly criticized the European Union for providing military support to Ukraine.
The Good Will Coalition aims to coordinate international security guarantees, strengthen support for Ukraine's defense, and build a common approach toward a lasting peace in Europe.
