The Latvian burger restaurant “Oak’A Burgers” has drawn attention on social media after a customer posted about an order placed through the delivery app Bolt. The woman had ordered two burgers: a pulled pork burger for herself and an American burger. At home, she found she had received full meal sets rather than just the individual burgers.

She decided to do the honest thing and phoned the restaurant to explain the mistake and ask how to pay for the extra items. The employee replied that these things happen and that nothing needed to be paid. The customer said this attitude was especially pleasant after various unpleasant experiences with orders in the past. She added that the burgers themselves were very tasty.

Representatives of the restaurant noticed the post and thanked her in a comment, saying such words had warmed their hearts. They also stressed that Oak’A Burgers is a Latvian company that makes its own sauces and spices.

Other customers' experiences

Other people joined the comment thread. One woman recalled a period when she had to avoid several foods while feeding her son. She could not find a suitable dish on the menu, so she explained the situation and mentioned her son's allergy. Staff prepared an individual meal that took the dietary restrictions into account.

Another customer had asked in the order notes whether potato seasoning could be included. He expected a small packet, but the delivery contained a large tin of Oak’a seasoning. He rated the experience with the maximum score.

One user claimed that the restaurant sometimes offers dogs raw minced beef. The author of the original post said that after such stories she would definitely like to visit the restaurant in person. In the discussion, burgers were described as juicy and tasty, and commenters praised the wide choice of sauces and the staff's attitude.
