The Central Election Commission (CVK) has already confirmed the locations of polling stations and is working on safety measures. In cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Crisis Management Center, it is creating response algorithms for possible emergencies, such as air raid alerts or other threats.
According to the CVK chairman, proposals for action in emergencies are being prepared in line with guidelines. In case of danger, human safety takes priority, followed by the protection of election materials. The commission has also assessed the feasibility of the "two-wall principle" at polling stations, which involves sheltering in a space separated from the outside by at least two walls.
The CVK aims to hold elections even in extraordinary circumstances without endangering voters or polling station staff.
