Havertz and Saka shine as Arsenal beat Coventry 3-0, debutant Tzolis impresses
Arsenal secured a comfortable 3-0 Premier League win over Coventry, with goals from Havertz, Saka and Odegaard, while new signing Christos Tzolis stood out on his first appearance for the club.

Arsenal delivered a convincing 3-0 home victory over Coventry, with goalkeeper David Raya facing barely any pressure while the attack showed strong early-season form.
Kai Havertz opened the scoring with a clinical finish after a precise pass from Riccardo Calafiori. Bukayo Saka doubled the lead after the goalkeeper failed to hold onto a shot from Christos Tzolis. Captain Martin Odegaard added the third following a powerful driving run from Declan Rice, though he admitted the finish carried an element of luck.
Tzolis catches the eye on debut
Christos Tzolis, making his first Premier League appearance for Arsenal, drew particular attention. The Greek forward created several dangerous moments early in the match, including a shot that went over the crossbar, and his work in winning back possession led directly to the opening goal. His cross also set up Saka's strike.
The defence also impressed, with Ben White renewing an effective partnership with Saka and picking up an assist, while Myles Lewis-Skelly delivered a composed midfield display that eased speculation about a possible summer transfer away from the club.
Coventry handed a debut to goalkeeper Carl Rushworth, who made a confident save from an early corner but struggled with Arsenal's second and third goals. The visiting defence was under pressure for most of the match, managing only occasional threats through players such as Ellis Simms and Loum Tchaouna.
Both sides made several substitutions in the second half, including World Cup winner Martin Zubimendi coming on for Arsenal, by which point the result was already settled.
