Russia says Ukrainian drone attack killed several in Moscow logistics centre
A Ukrainian drone strike on a logistics centre in western Russia killed seven people and wounded 24, the regional governor said, as the Moscow region faced a massive drone attack.

Drone Strike on Logistics Centre
On Saturday, July 18, 2025, a Ukrainian drone attack on a logistics centre in western Russia killed seven people and wounded 24, according to the regional governor. The attack occurred in the town of Kotovsk in the Tambov region, where drones hit a Wildberries logistics centre.
Governor Evgeny Pervyshov stated that all seven victims were night-shift employees. Russian company Wildberries reported that its logistics complexes in Kotovsk and Elektrostal, in the Moscow region, were targeted. The fire that broke out at the facility in the Tambov region has been contained, while firefighters are still working in Elektrostal.
Massive Drone Attack on Moscow Region
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Saturday that over 370 drones were launched toward the Moscow region overnight. Most were neutralized by air defence forces at distant approaches. 64 enemy UAVs were destroyed on approach to Moscow, he wrote on the state-backed MAX platform.
Ukraine has been striking a range of targets in Russia, which Kyiv says is fair retribution for Moscow's more than four-year barrages against its territory. US-led diplomatic efforts to end the fighting have stalled in recent months, as Washington has shifted focus to its conflict with Iran.
