Specialists advise preparing the body for winter in summer: eat berries, exercise, and enjoy sunny days
In Latvia, many start thinking about health only when it gets dark and cold, but specialists remind that one can prepare for winter already in summer by eating berries, starting exercise, and not missing sunny days.

In Latvia, many people begin to take their health seriously only when the weather turns dark and cold, leading to a lack of energy, worsening mood, and a body that feels in need of repair. However, as specialists on the Latvian radio program "Kā labāk dzīvot" remind us, preparation for winter can begin in summer.
The specialists recommend eating berries, starting physical activity, and making use of sunny days during the summer. These suggestions are intended to help strengthen the body and cope better with the winter months. The program noted that many Latvian residents only think about their health once they feel the effects of winter, but it is better to start in advance.
Although winter brings shorter days and colder weather, summer habits such as consuming berries, exercising, and spending time in the sun can contribute to maintaining well-being during the darker season. The experts encourage people not to wait until health issues appear, but to start taking care of themselves already now.
