Ukraine's parliament voted on July 14 to accept Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko's resignation, dismissing the entire cabinet as part of a planned government renewal announced by President Zelenskyy.

Government Reshuffle in Ukraine
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted on July 14 to accept the resignation of Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, effectively dissolving the entire government. According to the parliament session, 258 lawmakers supported the decision.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had earlier signaled the need for a cabinet reshuffle and changes in law enforcement leadership. Following a meeting with Zelenskyy, Svyrydenko confirmed she would leave the post. Reports indicate that she has not yet agreed to take the position of Ukraine's ambassador to the United States, which was speculated as her next role. The current ambassador, Olha Stefanishyna, has requested to end her service for personal reasons.
Potential Successors
Several names have emerged as potential successors for the prime minister's post. Among them are Serhii Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz and director of Ukrnafta; Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal; Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov; and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. According to sources, Zelenskyy personally offered the premiership to Koretskyi, who expressed readiness to take on the role.
